Step 2 of 6
The 2×2×3 block
What you should end up with
One corner and two edges join the block: 7 pieces out of 20 in all. Only two faces stay free, R and U.
How to do it
- Do not break the block: turn only faces that do not touch it. For a block at the back those are U, R and F.
- Join the new corner with one of the edges into a pair and place it together with the second edge.
- If a piece you need is in place but twisted, you can pick another corner: the block has three sides to grow on.
